Synonyms
Synonyms are used to expres the identity of the substance other than the offcial substance name. This includes the names in all official languages of the European Union, trade names and (regular) abbreviations. In the list of synonyms also the molecular formulas are presented.
The synonym always starts with a (latin) capital letter. This means that numbers or Greek characters are placed behind the name between brackets. For instance: 2-Butylacetate is listed as Butylacetate {2-}.
