The solubility of a substance in water is presented. For gassess a partial pressure above the solution is assumed at 1013 mbar (1 atmosphere). The Solubility in Water is presented in a dropbox, which allows you to present the solubility in water in different units: mg/l or �g/l. The selected unit is remembered when the exiting the program.

In general the solubility in water can be qualified as follows:

not : < 1 g/l (< 1E+6 �g/l)

badly : 1 - 10 g/l (1E+6 - 1E+7 �g/l)

weakly : 10 -100 g/l (1E+7 - 1E+8 �g/l)

well : 100 - 1000 g/l (1E+8 - 1E+9 �g/l)

very well : > 1000 g/l (> 1E+9 �g/l)

complete : in case a liquid forms in all proportions one (liquid)phase with water
