Numerical value Limit Value

Numerical value of the Limit Value

The number or numerical value of the limit value. In the field "Dimension of the Limit Value" it is indicated which dimension belongs to the numerical value. This does not apply to the values in ppm. These are in the field "Limit Value in ppm".

In the Netherlands Limit Values must be in the dimension 'mg/m3'. In the absence of a limit value in mg/m3, this is converted from the value in ppm (if the molecular weight [MW]) is known.

This conversion is done with the formula: Y (mg/m3) = X (ppm) * MW/22.4.

In the field Dimension of the Limit Value, the dimension "mg/m3 (=ppm*mw/22.4)" is given to indicate that the value in mg / m3 has been calculated.
