Installing:

DOHSBase Compare comes to you on a CD/DVD. Installation is quick and easy. On our website there is a Quick Installation Guide and a video in which the installation process is demonstrated. Check: www.dohsbase.nl/en/news/faq/

If you work on a computer which has Windows Vista, 7, 8 or 10 you should install the software directly on your root (c:\dohbase f.i.) and not in the c:\program files\ folder. This is necessary because the program stores the data-file of the Compare-selections in a subfolder of c:\dohsbase\. Microsoft prevents storing data-files in c:\program files\ folders.

DOHSBase Compare is developed for Windows computers, but works also on Mac-computers (MAC OS X v. 10.4.6 and higher). But only if a Windows environment is activated (with 'Boot Camp') or with virtualization software like Parallels (Nova) or Fusion (VMWare). Refer to your Apple-reseller for more information about these possibilities.

Uninstalling:

To uninstall the software, use the appropriate uninstall software on your operating system. Alternatively you can uninstall the program by the program "unins000.exe" which is in the folder you installed the software (and in the Start|Menu-folder in Windows).

Note: the documents (such as pdf's, in the folder c:\dohsbase\pdf and c:\dohsbase\meetmet_pdf) are not removed from your system, so you have to delete them manually.
